PhD Student


I am a second year PhD student whose research interests lie in the second language (L2) production and perception, laboratory phonology, and prosody. My current research examines how Mandarin speakers perceive and produce English sound patterns that are absent in their L1. I am also interested in studying how sociolinguistic factors play a role in L2 learning. Outside of linguistics, I enjoy spending time with dogs, playing the piano, and Zumba dance.
